Dynamite Reclaimer Pty Ltd is on the lookout for a skilled Dynamite Reclaimer to join our expert team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling of explosives and recovery of materials from blasting operations. This is a pivotal role in ensuring we maintain high safety standards and environmental responsibility while effectively executing our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform explosive recovery tasks while adhering to stringent safety protocols.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders to assist in material recovery.
• Maintain accurate logs of explosives and reclaimed materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members and site management.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions to keep skills current.
• Assist in developing best practices for explosives handling and reclamation processes.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations or equivalent
• Current state or national explosives licence

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in handling and transporting explosives.

• Explosives Handling
• Dynamite Reclaimer Equipment Operation

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Current driver's licence

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional licences or certifications related to explosives or mining: Further accreditations in the field will be advantageous.
• Heavy equipment operating experience preferred: Familiarity with operating various mining machinery will be beneficial.
