Fiberglass Container Winding Operator

Job Description

As a Fiberglass Container Winding Operator, you will be at the forefront of our production process, responsible for operating machines that wind fiberglass around steel mandrels. This role is critical to our ability to produce durable containers for our clients. Your attention to detail and ability to follow specifications will be essential for maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fiberglass winding machines to meet production standards.
• Inspect finished containers for quality assurance.
• Keep the work area tidy and abide by safety regulations.
• Assistance in training new operators on machine operations and safety standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Manufacturing or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience operating winding machines preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic Computer Skills
• Knowledge of Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills

Advantageous

• Prior experience operating winding machines for fiberglass manufacturing: Hands-on experience managing the winding process.
• Experience working with steel mandrels: Familiarity with setting up and operating steel mandrels for winding.
