Cold Roll Inspector

Job Description

The Cold Roll Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of cold rolled steel products by conducting inspections and tests. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of steel manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues and ensure compliance with production standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate cold rolled steel products for quality defects before shipping.
• Document and maintain records of inspection procedures and results accurately.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve product quality.
• Provide training and guidance for new inspectors on testing and inspection methods.
• Review inspection data and collaborate with teams to implement process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in a related field
• Further qualifications in engineering or quality control advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality inspection or manufacturing

• Quality control methodologies
