Retail Alterations Tailor

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Retail Alterations Tailor to perform alterations and repairs to clothing and accessories in our retail store. The ideal candidate will have excellent sewing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fittings and recommend alterations as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues with garments.
• Train junior tailors and assist in developing their skills.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in the alterations area.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and improvement areas.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Experience

• Proven experience as an alterations tailor may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications.

Technical Skills

• Sewing machinery operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
