We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Townsville team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering design and project management. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations while collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders. You should possess strong analytical skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects and review engineering calculations.
• Prepare detailed engineering and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with government agencies for project approvals.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate contractor proposals and assess technical qualifications.
• Ensure quality assurance in project deliverables.
• Assist in bid preparation and client meetings.
• Document all engineering activities and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional engineering registration is a plus

• 5+ years in civil engineering design and project management
