Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Operations Technician. This role involves managing the operation and maintenance of TUAVs across various challenging environments. As a key member of our team, you will ensure high-performance levels, perform pre-flight checks, and ensure the safe and efficient execution of missions. Your expertise in the technical aspects of UAV systems will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical or electronic issues.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-flight checks and mission planning for TUAV operations.
• Supervise and operate TUAV systems ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in mechanical and electronic systems.
• Gather, interpret, and report data from UAV flights.
• Work in collaboration with operational teams for mission success.
• Follow strict safety protocols and document flight operations.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration tasks.
• Assist colleagues with technical support and training as required.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III or higher in Aviation (Remote Pilot - Visual Line of Sight)
• Relevant certifications in TUAV operation and maintenance.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in TUAV operations.
