Satellite Television Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Satellite TV Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing satellite TV equipment, ensuring optimal signal reception for our customers. You will also provide technical support and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain satellite reception systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot satellite reception issues.
• Provide clients with guidance on satellite equipment usage.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments prior to installation.
• Implement safety measures on all work sites.
• Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
• Document all service activities for future reference.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
• Coordinate with other technicians to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Satellite TV Installation and Maintenance preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in satellite TV installation and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of satellite TV systems and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Good understanding of signal transmission and reception
• Familiarity with installation tools and software

Soft Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
