Job Description

As a Maintenance Worker, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of our machinery. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot a range of machinery and equipment.
• Work with the maintenance team to develop preventative maintenance strategies.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of machinery.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Communicate effectively with operations to minimize downtime.
• Implement improvements to maintenance processes.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in maintenance or engineering
• Additional certifications related to machinery maintenance are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or technical role.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Welding skills

Certifications

• GMP training
• OHS training certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated systems: Familiarity with automated machinery and control systems.
