Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Layout Workers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating layouts for metal and plastic products, ensuring precision and accuracy while adhering to safety regulations. You will work closely with engineers and production staff to finalize designs and oversee production setups.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Prepare detailed layout designs to optimize production efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineers to finalize and adjust designs.
  • Conduct assessments of manufacturing processes to ensure quality.
  • Utilize CAD software for layout designs and modifications.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
  • Train junior staff on layout techniques and procedures.
  • Coordinate with inventory management for timely material supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
  • Relevant apprenticeship or industry experience
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
