Job Description

The Skinner plays a critical role within our manufacturing team, processing animal hides and leather for various applications. This position involves operating specialized machinery, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with other team members to optimise production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire leather processing workflow while maintaining high standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products.
  • Support the maintenance team in ensuring machinery is operational.
  • Document and report any discrepancies in production issues.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Implement best practices for quality assurance and control.
  • Support sustainability initiatives within the production process.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Leather Production or equivalent
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in skinning and leather processing
Technical Skills
  • Leather Finishing Techniques
