Production Worker - Machine Bender

Job Description

As a Machine Bender at XYZ Manufacturing, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring metal bending machines to create high precision components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and previous experience in a manufacturing setting, ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal bending machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Check and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of finished product.
• Inspect finished product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Maintain and clean machines and work areas.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure production targets are met.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
• Assist in inventory control and material handling.
• Participate in safety and training meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating metalworking machinery in a manufacturing environment.
