Kiln Transfer Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Kiln Transfer Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transferring materials to and from the kiln, monitoring kiln temperatures and performance, and ensuring a safe working environment. Attention to detail and a team-oriented approach are key components of this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust kiln settings for optimal performance.
• Ensure efficient transfer of materials without delay.
• Train new operators on safety practices and equipment usage.
• Participate in safety inspections and audits as required.
• Support other departments in resolving material handling issues.
• Implement improvements to the material transfer process.
• Document all incidents and abnormalities for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Training in kiln operation and maintenance is preferred.

Experience

• Extensive experience in a production environment is an advantage.

Languages

• English: Fluent
