We are seeking skilled Explosives Workers to join our team. As an essential part of our operations, you will be responsible for safely handling and detonating explosives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of explosives and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage explosive materials, ensuring accurate inventory and security.
• Conduct safety drills and training sessions for team members.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with blasting activities.
• Document compliance with safety standards and training requirements.
• Work with environmental teams to assess the impact of blasting.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on operations.
• Liaise with local authorities regarding permits and regulations.
• Assist in the coordination of explosives logistics and transportation.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in explosives handling and detonation
• Diploma in safety management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in explosives operations in mining or civil construction.

Technical Skills

• Good problem-solving skills
• Good hand-eye coordination

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent time management skills

Advantageous

• Experience in explosives research and development: Contributions to the development of safer blasting techniques are a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic detonators: Previous experience using the latest detonating technology.
