Job Description

We are looking for skilled Maintenance Workers to join our machinery maintenance team. Your primary role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections on machinery to ensure reliability.
• Identify trends in machinery performance and suggest improvements.
• Foster a culture of safety and maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist with training sessions for production staff on machinery operation.
• Engage in peer reviews and team projects for maintenance strategy.
• Monitor inventory for maintenance supplies and equipment needs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on machinery design modifications.
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss maintenance priorities.
• Document asset condition reports and maintenance logs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in machinery maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Diploma in Engineering Technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in machinery maintenance

Technical Skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Electrical systems knowledge
• Preventative maintenance techniques
• PLC programming

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certificate IV in Engineering
• Working at Heights certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift license: Preferred certification to operate forklifts safely.
