Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Waterman with expertise in managing and maintaining water systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of pumps, motors, and treatment facilities while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance initiatives for water infrastructure while ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies for water system improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance tasks.
• Report and escalate serious issues to management promptly.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation for water projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Water Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience with a focus on water management systems

Technical Skills

• SCADA Systems
• Water Quality Analysis

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Water Quality Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous Experience in Government or Public Utility: Experience working in the public sector or with utilities will be an advantage.
• Additional Certifications in Water Management: Any further qualifications in water management or related fields will be beneficial.
