Job Description

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in the renewable energy sector by ensuring the optimal performance of wind turbines. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement improvements. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, safety adherence, and a commitment to renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of wind turbines.
  • Identify and rectify faults in turbine systems and components.
  • Monitor the energy output of turbines and report discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency.
  • Uphold safety standards during maintenance and operational activities.
  • Document all service activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new technicians.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance findings and performance analysis.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
  • Implement best practices in turbine maintenance and repair.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering
  • Additional certifications in wind technology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in wind turbine maintenance or similar roles
