Job Description

As a Signal and Track Switch Repairer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing communication equipment and signaling systems on trains. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our rail services, providing a seamless travel experience for our passengers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault-finding and repair work on signaling equipment.
• Install and commission new signaling and communication systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Document and report all maintenance activities.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
• Assist in training junior staff and new hires.
• Maintain tools and equipment used for maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certificate in Electrotechnology or similar field
• Certificate III in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of communication equipment and signaling systems
• Troubleshooting skills
• Technical aptitude

Certifications

• Working at Heights Certification
