Join our innovative team as a Drilling and Boring Machine Operator, where you'll operate advanced machinery to craft precise metal components. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely production of high-quality parts while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC horizontal boring machines for various projects.
• Conduct quality control checks on all produced components.
• Assist in the training of junior operators on machine set-up and operations.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency.
• Document workflow and production challenges for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production needs.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of experience operating horizontal boring machines

Technical Skills

• Multi-axis Machining
• Lean Manufacturing Practices

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles: Understanding of lean concepts to improve efficiency.
• Experience in Other Milling Operations: Prior experience with various milling machines is preferred.
