Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor, you will be instrumental in managing a diverse team of mechanics and repair personnel, ensuring that all machinery is functioning at optimal levels and safety standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily maintenance operations and staff schedules.
  • Ensure machinery is well-maintained and meets operational standards.
  • Develop training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Review repair orders and coordinate with vendors for parts.
  • Evaluate maintenance performance and develop improvement plans.
  • Document equipment maintenance history and compliance issues.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
