Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Jig Builder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in constructing jigs and fixtures, ensuring they meet the necessary specifications and quality standards. This role is essential for facilitating efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Construct jigs and fixtures per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Test and adjust jigs to ensure proper functionality.
• Coordinate with the production scheduler to ensure timely availability.
• Identify potential production bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance on jigs and fixtures.
• Assist in developing training materials for team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support cross-functional teams during installation and troubleshooting.
• Attend team meetings to discuss production challenges and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous

• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with CAD software: Proficiency in CAD software for design improvements.
