Mold Laminator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mold Laminator to join our team in Sydney. You will be responsible for creating composite materials and laminates using various molds. The ideal candidate should have experience with resins, adhesives, and other materials used in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds for lamination by cleaning and applying release agents.
• Carefully measure and mix resins and catalysts according to specifications.
• Trim and finish laminated parts to meet precise specifications.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Train new staff on laminating processes and equipment operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in manufacturing or relevant discipline would be advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with laminating equipment
• Understanding of curing processes

Soft Skills

• Good communication
• Problem-solving

Advantageous

• Experience in automotive application: Hands-on experience in producing components for the automotive sector.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations: Understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures.
