Job Description

As a Groundsman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the gardens and grounds of both commercial and residential properties. Your primary responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and ensuring that our outdoor spaces are kept immaculate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of horticultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized workspaces during daily tasks.
• Conduct soil and plant health assessments.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling of green materials.
• Train junior staff on proper gardening techniques and equipment.
• Monitor irrigation systems and adjust as necessary.
• Assist with the design and creation of new landscaping projects.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Horticulture or related field
• Relevant experience can substitute formal education

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent
