Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cold-Rolling Machine Setter to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating cold-rolling machines to shape metal into desired forms. A strong background in machine operation and maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate with team members about ongoing production needs.
• Perform quality checks of materials before and after processing.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies and materials.
• Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication or similar roles.

Technical Skills

• Experience with different types of metals
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
