Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and experienced in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. You will create engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning abilities and foster a supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between students and their peers to foster inclusion.
• Coordinate with external agencies to support students' learning and development needs.
• Conduct workshops for staff on strategies for teaching students with special needs.
• Engage students in activities that promote social and emotional growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Special Needs
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications highly regarded

Experience

• Experience working with students with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities preferred.
