Job Description

We are seeking a talented Prosthetic Makeup Designer to join our team. This role involves designing and creating high-quality prosthetic makeup effects for film and television productions. The ideal candidate will have experience in collaborating with creative teams to understand the vision and deliver stunning makeup effects on set.

Responsibilities

• Create a variety of prosthetic models using silicone, latex, and foam materials.
• Assist with the application of special effects makeup for stunts and action scenes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in prosthetic makeup.
• Ensure all creations comply with safety standards for use on actors.
• Conduct research for historically accurate makeup designs when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or degree in makeup artistry or design

Experience

• At least 5 years' experience in prosthetic and special effects makeup.

Technical Skills

• Airbrush Techniques
• Makeup for Camera

Soft Skills

• Detail-Oriented
• Team Player

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Historic Makeup: Knowledge in creating historically accurate makeup effects.
