Ammunition Supervisor

Job Description

As the Ammunition Supervisor, you will oversee the handling, storage, transport, and security of ammunition and explosives according to national regulations and standards. Your leadership will ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe operations in the handling of ammunition.
• Manage and oversee staff training and development.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and standards.
• Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of inventory levels.
• Conduct routine audits of safety and compliance measures.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team in daily operations.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III or IV in Ammunition and Explosives Handling or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in ammunition and explosives handling and storage

• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
