Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met and operational efficiency is maintained. Your role will include managing a team of operators, coordinating workflow, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of production workers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Set daily production goals and monitor progress.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to align on production goals.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and promote housekeeping standards.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Manufacturing or related field
  • Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production supervision role
