Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Clothing Pattern Designer who can craft precise patterns based on design specifications. You will play a vital role in ensuring the fit and functionality of the garments produced.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust clothing patterns from initial design concepts.
• Conduct fittings to assess the accuracy of patterns on actual samples.
• Use advanced CAD software to enhance pattern accuracy and efficiency.
• Document all pattern variations and maintain an organized library.
• Innovate patterns for new collections that align with current fashion trends.
• Train and support junior pattern makers in technical skills.
• Work closely with garment technicians to solve fitting issues.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the design process.
• Mentor interns and new hires on best practices in pattern design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in pattern design

Technical Skills

• Pattern Digitization Software
• Fabric Knowledge

Certifications

• Patternmaking Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
