Grinding and Polishing Worker (Sander and Buffer)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sander and Buffer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and finishing wood surfaces using a variety of sanding and buffing tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Sand and buff surfaces to prepare them for painting or finishing.
• Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure they are properly prepared.
• Apply finishes to surfaces such as stain, paint, or lacquer.
• Perform regular maintenance on sanding and buffing equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant experience preferred but not essential

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in sanding and buffing wood surfaces.
