Job Description

The Blade Changer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and replacing blades for industrial machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal performance and safety of the machinery, requiring a keen eye for detail and robust mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on turbine rotor blades.
• Replace damaged or worn blades in a timely manner.
• Inspect towers and nacelles for any signs of damage.
• Assist with other maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
• Support maintenance team members with technical issues.
• Engage in continuous training and development.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machinery maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Experience with blade sharpening equipment
• Experience with hydraulic systems

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating industrial machinery: Understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
