We are on the lookout for a skilled Knot Saw Operator to join our dynamic team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining knot saw machines to cut and shape wood materials effectively. Your expertise will enable us to meet high production standards while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up the knot saw machine for various wood types and sizes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to prevent downtime.
• Assist in developing effective production schedules.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Document and report production metrics as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training or certification in woodworking preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Knot Saw Operator or in a similar woodworking role
