Job Description

As a Cupola Tapper, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining cupola furnaces for melting metal and producing castings. This role suits individuals who are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of metal processes.

Responsibilities

• Control the environment of the cupola furnace to ensure optimal melting conditions.
• Supervise the tapping process and manage the quality of molten metal.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on furnace equipment.
• Implement safety and quality protocols during operations.
• Collaborate with metallurgists to refine melting processes.
• Document production metrics and report any discrepancies immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in welding or metallurgy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a metalworking or foundry environment.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

Certifications

• Forklift License

Languages
