We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to support our diverse projects in Ballarat. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices, working closely with teams to develop innovative solutions for ecological challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Engage with community and stakeholders to address environmental concerns.
• Advise on the integration of sustainability into business practices.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables related to environmental objectives.
• Evaluate ecological data and generate actionable insights.
• Assist in promoting awareness of environmental issues within the organization.
• Work with clients to foster sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprint.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental assessment and management

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• Environmental Compliance Professional (ECP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
