Job Description

As an Anesthesiologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting anesthesiologists and the surgical team during procedures. You will be responsible for preparing anesthesia equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and assisting with airway management. This position requires a detailed-oriented professional with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia delivery systems and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care during procedures.
• Assist in the administration of regional anesthesia techniques when necessary.
• Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions throughout surgical procedures.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives related to anesthesia practices.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care accurately.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Anesthesia Technology or related field
• Experience working in a high-volume surgical environment is preferred

Experience

• Proven experience with pediatric or geriatric patients is advantageous.
