Job Description

The Continuing Education Dean is responsible for leading and managing the development and delivery of continuing education programs. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the continuing education department.
  • Oversee the development of new courses based on market demands.
  • Ensure the accessibility of programs for diverse learners.
  • Mentor staff and faculty involved in program delivery.
  • Monitor budget and resource allocation for programs.
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations and employers.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies for program promotion.
  • Review and update curricular and instructional strategies.
  • Lead program assessments to enhance quality and relevance.
  • Support initiatives that enhance student engagement and success.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • PhD is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in an academic setting
