Job Description

As a Loan Interviewer and Clerk, you will be pivotal in reviewing and verifying loan documents for accuracy. Your role will involve preparing loan packages for investors and ensuring compliance with industry standards, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Review and triage loan applications for documentation completeness
• Prepare quality control reports for management review
• Provide input on process improvements for loan processing and documentation
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss goals and performance

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of mortgage lending processes
• Experience with loan servicing

Soft Skills

• Multitasking abilities
• Client relationship skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with loan servicing procedures: Hands-on experience with servicing processes and compliance checks.
• Working knowledge of loan modification processes: Knowledge of procedures and requirements for loan modifications.
