Job Description
The Athletics Director will oversee the management and development of all athletic programs and activities within the university. This position demands exceptional leadership skills and a profound understanding of sports management.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction of athletic programs to enhance student-athlete development.
Supervise and mentor coaching staff to build effective teams.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and sponsors.
Implement training programs that align with best practices in sports management.
Conduct evaluations and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Manage all health and safety protocols in compliance with governing bodies.
Advise and assist in recruitment efforts of student-athletes.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field
Master's degree is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in athletic administration or related field
