Responsibilities

• Design and execute annual park budgets while developing recreational plans.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and enhance visitor knowledge of park rules.
• Lead the maintenance team and oversee contractors to ensure operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with community groups to promote park activities.
• Evaluate risks linked to recreational activities and implement safety measures.
• Organize events that engage and educate visitors about park activities.
• Prepare briefings for senior management on park operations and outcomes.
• Guarantee the park environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
• Direct the maintenance of park facilities to ensure optimal visitor experience.
• Encourage continuous improvement among staff through training and support.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Recreation Management or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years' experience overseeing park operations
