• Evaluate insurance applications and determine risks.
• Assess coverage requirements for new and renewal policies.
• Work with brokers and agents to gather necessary information.

• Provide guidance to junior underwriters and support staff.
• Monitor claims trends and adjust underwriting guidelines accordingly.
• Review and process endorsements and policy changes.
• Communicate with clients regarding policy matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Certifications such as AICD or ANZIIF preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in underwriting or insurance roles
