Job Description

In this role, you will perform vital maintenance and calibration on sophisticated optical and mechanical systems. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and tests on optical systems.
• Document all maintenance activities and support technical documentation.
• Participate in product development meetings to review optical specifications.
• Utilize CAD software to assist in design projects.
• Liaise with suppliers to source necessary components and repairs.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices on best practices.
• Ensure workshop cleanliness and equipment readiness for production.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Support quality control efforts by conducting thorough evaluations.
• Develop improvement plans for malfunctioning systems based on findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of industry experience in optical or mechanical systems.
