Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Coordinator to oversee and manage various construction projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role involves liaising with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare progress reports for senior management, outlining milestones and challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all construction-related queries.
  • Ensure all health and safety measures are strictly adhered to on-site.
  • Assess risks associated with construction activities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior project staff, promoting professional development.
  • Review and approve construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress and issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilise project management software for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Support the tendering process and assist in selecting subcontractors.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management
