Job Description

As a Wildlife Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the conservation of local wildlife populations. Your responsibilities will include managing conservation efforts, conducting research, and educating the public about the importance of wildlife protection. This role requires a strong passion for environmental conservation and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and evaluate wildlife conservation and management programs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to foster cooperation in wildlife protection efforts.
  • Develop educational programs aimed at increasing community engagement in conservation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on wildlife conservation activities and outcomes.
  • Work on policy development and advocacy for wildlife protection initiatives.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement on wildlife protection violations.
  • Maintain accurate records of wildlife assessments and conservation data.
  • Participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance conservation skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Management, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in wildlife conservation or a similar position.
