Job Description

As a key member of our medical team, you will provide critical care to patients suffering from blood disorders. This position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients.
• Assist in the development and implementation of clinical trials.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Specialty certification in Hematology
• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hematologist

Technical Skills

• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to perform bone marrow biopsies

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with clinical trials and research: Involvement in clinical trials for new hematology treatments.
• Experience with pediatric patients: Ability to manage hematologic conditions in younger patients.
• Bilingual/multilingual proficiency: Ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.
