Job Description

Are you a skilled Tailor, Dressmaker, or Custom Sewer? We are seeking talented individuals to join our production team. You'll be responsible for creating custom slip covers and soft furnishings while ensuring top-notch quality and design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create custom slip covers based on customer requests and specifications.
• Measure and cut fabrics accurately for various furniture pieces.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure product accuracy and quality.
• Inspect and adjust finished products for any quality issues.
• Train new team members in sewing techniques and best practices.
• Develop and maintain an inventory of materials and supplies.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Document any fabric issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere to deadlines while maintaining high product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Fashion Design or related field is an advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in sewing or tailoring

Technical Skills

• Sewing machine operation
• Creativity

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in customer service: Ability to interact positively with clients and understand their needs.
• Working knowledge of textiles industry: Solid understanding of fabrics used in soft furnishings.
