Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Ecotherapist to lead therapeutic sessions in natural environments. The ideal candidate will have a background in mental health, combined with a love for the outdoors. Your role will primarily focus on enhancing the mental health and well-being of clients through nature-based therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate ecotherapy sessions that foster healing and growth.
  • Implement assessment tools to evaluate client mental health.
  • Design an array of therapy activities centred on nature interaction.
  • Document and report on client treatment effectiveness.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Lead community outreach initiatives promoting ecotherapy.
  • Participate in case consultations with professional peers.
  • Organize and lead group therapy sessions in outdoor settings.
  • Keep meticulous records in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Graduate degree preferred
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant counselling experience.
