Clinical Pharmacist

Job Description

In the position of Clinical Pharmacist, you will assess patient medication regimes, provide counselling, and collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance medication adherence and safety. This role is integral to advancing patient care and supporting clinical outcomes in our pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess therapeutic appropriateness of prescribed medications.
• Act as a resource for pharmacy staff regarding drug interactions and medication safety.
• Review and interpret laboratory results to optimize medication therapy.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Engage in research and clinical trials to advance pharmacy practice.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with health privacy laws.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting
