Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Huller to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you'll be tasked with operating hulling equipment to effectively remove hulls from various agricultural products. Precision is key, and you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our crops are processed efficiently. Your attention to detail will contribute to maintaining the high quality of our seeds and products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hulling equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Monitor the performance and output of hulling machines.
• Inspect raw and processed crops for quality assurance.
• Document production rates and discrepancies during operations.
• Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team for testing of processed crops.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure environmental compliance.
• Participate in training sessions for skill development.
• Assist other teams in seed processing as required.
• Promote a safe working environment through adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma preferred

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
