Job Description

Join our team as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (Bilingual SLP) where you will provide assessment and therapy services for communication and swallowing disorders in clients who speak two or more languages. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop tailored treatment plans and employ innovative therapy techniques to enhance client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication abilities in clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Create and modify treatment plans as necessary based on client progress and needs.
  • Facilitate workshops for families to improve communication strategies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and strict adherence to patient privacy regulations.
  • Utilize appropriate technology and software for documentation and therapy delivery.
  • Engage in outreach programs to promote speech therapy services in multicultural communities.
  • Research and implement best practices in bilingual therapy.
  • Contribute to clinic policy development and enhancement of service delivery.
  • Participate in case conferences and collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Additional certifications in bilingual therapy preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in speech-language pathology with a focus on bilingual clients.
