Job Description

As a Preparation Plant Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our preparation plant, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety regulations. You will manage a dedicated team, promoting best practices and achieving production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Oversee and enhance training programs for all staff.
  • Track and enhance production metrics systematically.
  • Ensure timely maintenance for all machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a thorough inventory management system.
  • Deliver reports regarding efficiency and safety metrics to senior management.
  • Develop and uphold quality control measures.
  • Provide team leadership by setting clear expectations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within operations.
  • Collaborate with different departments for streamlined operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or relevant fields
  • Relevant trade qualification is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a mining or materials processing environment
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of crushing and screening equipment
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Soft Skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with flotation circuits: In-depth knowledge of flotation processes relevant to coal preparation.
  • Experience with gravity separation techniques: Expertise in gravity separation techniques used in the minerals processing sector.
