Job Description
As a Map Editor, you will be pivotal in creating and maintaining accurate maps using state-of-the-art GIS software. You will analyze geospatial data and collaborate with a team of experts to ensure that mapping information is precise and current.
Responsibilities
Lead mapping projects utilizing GIS technologies.
Support the development of mapping best practices.
Coordinate with IT for system updates and software integration.
Assist in the migration of legacy data to GIS platforms.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights.
Support promotional efforts by creating impactful maps for marketing.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field
Master's degree or relevant certifications are advantageous
